about

THE CONTEXT:
The last couple of years of college were pretty stressful in more ways than one. During the final seven months, I summarized this stress in a almost completely DIY attempt at an album. It was exhausting, and I dealt with struggling through the missteps and pitfalls of home recording, rewrites, and scrapping songs. However, I successfully released it the week of my graduation and moved to Chicago shortly after. I had releases before this album, but it was the first one where I found my stride as a songwriter.
